Delivering the opening remarks, Ms. Phan Thi Thanh Binh – Deputy General Director of the DIV said that the Labor Code No. 45/2019/QH14 was passed by the 14th National Assembly on November 20, 2019 and took effect on January 1, 2021, which has set a more comprehensive legal framework for industrial relations, working conditions, and representative function of employers and employees. formation, the Code has paid more attention to the implementation of voluntary collective bargaining – an essential tool for a modern socialist-oriented market economy in the process of deep global integration. Along with that is the introduction of several decrees regarding employee entitlements. The training course is organized to promptly update new documents, regulations, and policies for the staff of the DIV; contribute to improving the knowledge of staff in charge of human resources in terms of labor, salary, social insurance etc. Ms. Phan Thi Thanh Binh expects that the participants will continue to self-study to improve their capacity and qualification even after this course, and advise the Board of Directors in promulgating documents, regulations and policies for employees and employers at the DIV.
Thanks to their abundant practical experiences, the lecturers exchanged and updated the participants with new regulations in the amended Labor Code regarding the provisions on: Labor contract; salary, bonus; probation period; working and resting hours; labor discipline; settlement of labor disputes and regulations on retirement, etc.
The training course has received positive responses and enthusiasm from the participants in discussing the difficulties and opposing solutions to improve the effectiveness of policy implementation at the DIV.
