Mr. Do Van Chien - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, President of Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front receives the support of the DIV from Mr. Pham Bao Lam - Member of the Party Executive Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the DIV
On the morning of September 22, 2021, the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc (the Party Committee of Bloc) held a ceremony in response to the special emulation movement of "The whole country unites, joins hands and make efforts to combat the Covid-19 pandemic" and the nation-wide movement of "Vietnamese unites to triumph over the COVID-19".

Attending and directing the ceremony were Mr. Do Van Chien - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, President of Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Nguyen Long Hai - Alternate Member of the Party Central Executive Committee, Secretary of Party Committee of the Bloc and comrades in the Standing Party Committee of the Bloc; representatives of the Central Party Building Committees.
On the DIV’s side, there were Mr. Pham Bao Lam - Member of the Party Executive Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the DIV; Mr. Ha Hong Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the DIV.
In response to the appeal of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, following the guiding documents of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic; The special emulation movement "The whole country unites, joins hands and make efforts to combat the Covid-19 pandemic" launched by the Prime Minister and the letter calling for the nation-wide movement "Vietnamese unites to triumph over the COVID-19” of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; from September 16, 2021 until now, the Party Committees of corporations, commercial banks, etc. under the Party Committee of the Bloc have shown their determination to join the special emulation. Up to now, 24 agencies and units have donated for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic with a total amount of VND 35,855 billion.

Mr. Nguyen Long Hai - Alternate Member of the Party Central Executive Committee, Secretary of Party Committee of the Bloc, said that the recent outbreaks of the Covid-19 severely affected the production and business activities of many enterprises. However, under the spirit of mutual support, enterprises in the Central Enterprises Bloc took the initiative, upheld the spirit of sharing, and joined hands with the whole country in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Up to now, enterprises in the Central Enterprises Bloc have contributed over VND 8,680 billion to the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Vaccine Fund. In addition, medical equipment supplies were also donated; many provinces/cities severely affected by the pandemic received support. In addition, corporations, units in the Bloc have actively proposed and implemented supportive methods such as reducing fees & prices, interest rates and many other activities to support businesses and people with the total budget amounting to tens of thousands of VND billion.
Actively responding to the special emulation movement "The whole country unites, joins hands and make efforts to combat the Covid-19 pandemic" and the nation-wide movement "Vietnamese unites to triumph over the COVID-19” launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the DIV’s Party Committee decided to donate VND 300 million.
Previously, in 2020, the DIV donated VND 313 million to support the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic; donated antibacterial cloth masks and Lifebuoy soap, donated anti-droplet masks for hospitals and medical centers in the districts of Hanoi City; donated to the Program of joining hands to combat the Covid-19 of the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Central Committee with a total amount of VND 198 million. In early 2021, the DIV’s Party Committee directed all officials and employees in the whole system to contribute to the Government's Covid-19 Vaccine Fund with each individual donating at least one day's wage. Besides, the DIV’s Youth Union appealed to support for Bac Giang province with at least VND 100,000 VND per person. Accordingly, the total amount raised was VND 343 million.
